Where The Wild Things Are Cake Smash Session {Utah Cake Smash Photographer}

This cake smash theme is one of my most popular and I can see why! All of these fun cake smashes take place in my Sandy Utah portrait studio and parents get to come with the theme set up, cake ready and a matching outfit to boot. We went with The Wild One theme because what could be more perfect for a first birthday cake smash session? Jared looked adorable in his onesie and furry crown he did NOT want to keep on his head! He was such a smiley baby! 

After letting him play around for a little bit, we pulled out his cake all ready to smash! A delicious vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and a cute WILD ONE topper. His parents and I had such a ball watching him make all his different facial expressions. We could barely get him away from that cake and I of course, overshot and ended up with about 100 pictures of him. SO cute! 

After the cake portion of the smash I will usually pull out my cream tub and fill it with some warm water so that parents can take home a clean baby instead of one covered in frosting! And why miss out on the fun when we can take pictures of that too? Obviously, this was not his favorite part, but I got so many cute ones of him before we weren't upset about it! I had the most fun celebrating his birthday with him and can't wait to celebrate with more sweet families the rest of this year!
